N0016425GWP16 – P00002 – SYNOPSIS – SOLE SOURCE – MODIFICATION TO ADD KLYSTRON TUBE MANUFACTURINIG AND REPAIR

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division intends to modify Basic Ordering Agreement N0016425GWP16 to add requirements for manufacturing and repairing Klystron tubes. Under this modification, the contractor will handle the manufacturing, evaluation, repair, and rebuild of AN/SPS-49 Klystron tubes. Work is expected to be performed in Palo Alto, California, by the sole-source contractor, Microwave Power Products, which holds the proprietary technical data, manufacturing processes, and specialized testing equipment required for the efforts. Although this sole-source modification will not be posted publicly, other responsible sources may submit capability documents to be considered for future procurement strategies.
