Contract Opportunity Analysis

Army Contracting Command–Aberdeen Proving Ground, on behalf of the Department of War’s Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office and the Department of the Army, issued a call for solutions for AI-enabled software development coding capabilities, and the notice was later canceled in its entirety. The effort sought commercially mature coding tools for enterprise deployment to improve developer productivity, code quality, and delivery speed across government environments. Required capabilities included IDE-based and/or CLI-based assistance, support for large-scale deployment, data privacy protections, integration with existing infrastructure, and compliance with IL5, FedRAMP High, and DISA IL5 PA security standards. The solution brief phase was to be evaluated on technical merit, schedule, and company viability, with the call also anticipating enterprise deployment for tens of thousands to 100,000 users and possible FAR or non-FAR prototype awards. The Phase 1 question deadline was February 27, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET, and solution briefs were due March 6, 2026 at 1400 EST before the cancellation.
