Contract Opportunity Analysis

The Department of Defense, on behalf of the Kansas Army National Guard, is seeking sources for the diagnosis, repair, and reprogramming of two legacy Modula Vertical Lift Systems to restore them to full operational capability. The contractor will be required to repair or replace electronic and mechanical components, perform system reprogramming and calibration, and conduct a full-cycle operational verification test. Work must be performed during designated weekday hours over a 12-month period of performance at Army Aviation Support Facility #1 in Topeka, Kansas, and Army Aviation Support Facility #2 in Salina, Kansas. While the government intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Modula Incorporated due to proprietary software and technical constraints, capabilities statement submissions from authorized, certified dealers are being accepted until July 17, 2026, at 5:00 PM CST via email to James D. Sparkes.
