Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Air Force, specifically Cannon Air Force Base, is conducting market research to identify capable vendors for a tactical unattended ground-based Counter-Small Unmanned Aerial System sensor system. The required multi-domain sensing system must consist of self-contained, lightweight sensor nodes utilizing seismic, magnetic, and passive infrared break-wire technologies to detect human and vehicle presence. Key technical requirements include a battery life exceeding 24 months, a star topology communicating up to 15 kilometers to a gateway, native integration into the Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK), and robust AES encryption. Interested sources should contact Jeffery Reagan at jeffery.reagan.2@us.af.mil or Michael Barbera at michael.barbera@us.af.mil to provide information regarding these capabilities.
