DLA Aviation intends to issue a sole-source, firm-fixed-price solicitation to Machine Tool Research, Inc. for the procurement of a computer numerically controlled propulsion shaft lathe. The required scope involves delivering one Model SPL 68 X 1098M CNC lathe, with options for up to three additional units, under a turnkey service package that includes installation, foundation, shipping, rigging, post processor setup, OSHA certification, training, and technical manuals. Performance will take place in Norfolk, Virginia, and the base contract must be completed within 365 days after receipt of order.
