15--STEP ASSY

The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support in Philadelphia, intends to solicit a sole-source contract for airframe structural components. The scope of work requires the procurement of 10 step assemblies, designated under National Stock Number 1560-014668184 and Part Number 70207-26001-047, to support the H-60 helicopter platform. Because the government does not own the technical data, the solicitation is directed to the original equipment manufacturer, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, though other firms may submit a Source Approval Request to demonstrate their manufacturing capabilities. Deliveries will be FOB Origin, and unique identification requirements along with Buy American clauses will apply.
