Van Buren LPOE Asphalt Removal and Replacement, Phase II
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The General Services Administration’s Public Buildings Service is seeking a HUBZone sole-source contractor for the Van Buren Land Port of Entry asphalt removal and replacement, Phase II, in Van Buren, Maine. The work covers removing and replacing about 53,000 square feet of asphalt, including disposal, road markings, and preparation of a Maine DOT-approved traffic control plan, with the project divided into a base and an option. The acquisition will use a design-bid-build delivery method, and award under FAR Part 15 will place much greater weight on technical factors, including past performance and prior experience on similar projects, than on price. A pre-proposal conference and site visit are scheduled for June 2026, the solicitation is expected on or about June 8, 2026 through SAM.gov, and inquiries should be directed to Jeffery Linskens.
