Acquisition of Fan Coil Units

This document is Amendment 0001 to Solicitation PR16224057, issued by the U.S. Embassy Ashgabat in Turkmenistan. The purpose of this amendment is to clarify the technical specifications of the required equipment and extend the proposal submission deadline. Specifically, the amendment clarifies that the requested fan coil units must be wall-mounted with anchoring points at the back of the housing, though the units themselves stand on the floor. Consequently, Section 1 of the solicitation (the Schedule of Requirements) has been updated to specify wall-mounted type fan coil units. The updated requirements consist of: - **Item 1:** 59 sets of wall-mounted Fan Coil Units (nominal L 120 cm, cooling capacity 4.50–5.50 kW, heating capacity 8.00–9.50 kW). - **Item 2:** 12 sets of wall-mounted Fan Coil Units (nominal L 157 cm, cooling capacity 7.00–8.00 kW, heating capacity 8.50–10.00 kW). - **Item 3:** 12 sets of wall-mounted Fan Coil Units (nominal L 190 cm, cooling capacity 8.50–9.50 kW, heating capacity 13.00–14.00 kW). All units must operate on single-phase, 220–230 V AC, 50–60 Hz power. The closing date for the submission of quotations has been extended to September 16, 2026, at 17:00 PKT. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged.

The U.S. Embassy in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, has issued a Request for Quotations (RFQ PR16224057) for the acquisition and delivery of eighty-three (83) brand new fan coil units. The contract will be awarded as a firm-fixed-price purchase order to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest-priced, technically acceptable quotation. The acquisition consists of three categories of fan coil units: - 59 units of size L 120 x H 64 x D 23.5 cm - 12 units of size L 157 x H 64 x D 23.5 cm - 12 units of size L 190 x H 64 x D 23.5 cm Each unit must be supplied as a complete set including a compatible temperature controller, a three-way thermostatic control valve (equivalent to EKON Model DRF-01), and all standard connection components. The contractor must provide a one-year warranty exercisable in Ashgabat utilizing original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts. Prices must be quoted in U.S. Dollars on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis to the U.S. Embassy in Ashgabat, excluding Value Added Tax (VAT) due to the Embassy's tax-exempt status. Deliveries must be completed within ninety (90) calendar days of the award. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Quotations must be submitted in English by 17:00 Ashgabat time on September 13, 2026, either in a sealed envelope or via email to ashgabatsolicitations@state.gov.
