Sources Sought DEPT OF DEFENSE is seeking a Machine Bolt for the MH60 project to support the Navy. The item is typically used for SH-60B F, HH-60H, MH-60R S helicopters. The goal is to secure a 5-year long term contract. The Machine Bolt is a Navy CSI (Critical Safety Item) with extended lead time and special requirements such as ISO-9000. It is export controlled and requires First Article Test (FAT) and Production Lot Test (PLT). The item has Inspection and Acceptance at Origin (Source) and source controlled drawings are available. The procurement is not COTS (Commercial Off the Shelf). The notice aims to identify companies with access to source controlled drawings for a potential 5-year LTC (long term contract). Minimum and maximum order quantities are negotiable. The notice also seeks to determine if there are enough interested parties for a potential small business set aside or sole source procurement. Capability Statements can be provided by potential offerors. The anticipated period of performance is from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2029.
