Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Interior National Park Service is seeking a contractor to perform hazardous and diseased tree removal, pruning, and trimming services. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and traffic controls to address 36 specific work items covering approximately 78 designated trees, split into 21 pruning tasks and 15 tree removals. All work must be completed at the Manassas National Battlefield Park in Virginia by an on-site International Society of Arboriculture certified arborist in compliance with ANSI standards, seasonal wildlife restrictions, and Service Contract Labor Standards. This small-business set-aside acquisition will result in a firm-fixed-price contract awarded via the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable process, with a period of performance from September 28, 2026, through March 31, 2027.
