Chaplain Retreat Services

The Joint Base-Langley Eustis Chaplain Corps requires a contractor to provide comprehensive support for various weekend retreats, including Marriage, Family, Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) Family, Single Airmen, and Single Parent Family Retreats. The contractor must manage all aspects, including instructors, curriculum, lodging, meals, childcare, and event venues, accommodating up to 122 participants (120 attendees and 2 Chaplain Corps personnel) for up to two nights. Retreats should be within 60-225 miles of participants, focusing on military-specific stresses and enhancing communication and conflict resolution skills. Lodging facilities must be a minimum of a three-star rating, provide family-friendly rooms with specific amenities, and offer recreational activities. Event facilities require general and breakout session rooms with AV equipment, internet, and beverage stations. The contractor is responsible for providing five meals per participant, adhering to specific dietary requirements, and offering childcare by licensed and approved providers, with specialized care for EFMP children. All staff must have current background checks and CPR/First Aid certification. The contractor must also provide annual familiarization for Chaplain Corps members, instructor biographies, accommodate roster changes, submit participant surveys, and ensure a contract manager and alternate are available to oversee operations and safety compliance.
