The Department of Justice’s Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking market research for food waste removal and disposal services at the Federal Correctional Complex in Victorville, California. The work covers pick-up, hauling, emptying, sanitizing, returning, and disposal of food waste compactors, with a minimum of two compactors serviced daily and additional exchanges handled on demand. The anticipated arrangement is an indefinite-delivery requirements contract with firm-fixed prices, spanning a base year, four option years, and a six-month extension, and the contractor must operate outside the secure perimeter, use sealed vehicles, comply with disposal and sanitation laws, and meet NCIC and access requirements for personnel.
