DRAIN STR/ORIFICE

The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, is soliciting bids for the procurement of a complete one-inch, 900 PSI steam socketweld drain strainer/orifice. The contractor must manufacture the critical shipboard system component in accordance with Naval Sea Systems Command Drawing 803-5001057 and Assembly 803-5001057-S3AF-375. Because the material is designated for a crucial shipboard system, strict quality assurance measures are required, including an ISO-9001 compliant quality system, extensive material and testing certifications, and strict traceability. All completed certification data must be submitted to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard via the Wide Area Work Flow system for review and acceptance before any material can be shipped.
