Request for Information - Engineering and Scientific Software Application

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, issued a Request for Information (RFI) on November 18, 2025, seeking commercially available engineering and scientific software applications. Responses are due by December 2, 2025, at 3 PM EST. The RFI aims to identify software capable of numerical computation, simulation, and data analysis to support Department of Navy efforts in research, development, electronics, and mechanical engineering. Key interests include solutions that enhance efficiency, allow for data visualization, create virtual prototypes, simulate designs, support multi-domain modeling, generate production-quality code (C, C++, CUDA, Verilog, VHDL), and facilitate iterative development. Vendors should provide software overviews, licensing options, capabilities, operating requirements, successful implementation examples within the Department of War or Navy, deployment capabilities for up to 1,600 users, estimated costs, and any additional commercial use insights.
