Notice of Intent to Sole Source - FEDEX Shipping for USACE ULC - Required source

The Department of the Army, US Army Corps of Engineers, intends to award a sole-source task order to the Federal Express Corporation to provide shipping services for the USACE Learning Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The contractor must deliver comprehensive domestic and international small package shipping services, which includes performing twice-daily pickups and deliveries, managing customs clearances, and ensuring shipments are processed within 48 hours of pickup. FedEx is the required source as the only shipper capable of delivering to all necessary USACE and Army locations under the mandatory Next Generation Delivery Service Best-In-Class solution. The proposed contract value is $39,000 for a one-year period of performance.
