The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Office of Acquisition Services intends to award a sole-source firm-fixed-price purchase order to Agilent Technologies, Inc. for a liquid chromatograph coupled with an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer. The procurement is for an integrated LC-ICP-MS system that works with the existing laboratory instrumentation and Agilent MassHunter software used in the Respiratory Health Division/Field Studies Branch laboratories. This compatibility is intended to preserve validated analytical methods and workflows, support instrument control and data analysis without retraining or major modification, and maintain continuity of operations in Atlanta, Georgia.
