The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) intends to award a sole-source contract to Metal Works of Montana, Inc. for the procurement of a Standard Model 52 pump package, which is essential for enhancing wildfire suppression capabilities. This acquisition is justified as Metal Works is the only manufacturer in the Northwest capable of providing this specific equipment, which is critical for the operational needs of the Montana Fire Zone.
