The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Southwestern Division Middle East District, is seeking a contractor for the Touchdown 08 Airfield Pavement Repair and Replacement project in Jordan. The work covers comprehensive repair and replacement of airfield pavement, including replacing 13,504 square meters of Portland cement concrete pavement and 13,354 square meters of asphalt with new modified-heavy-load concrete to extend the runway touchdown zone, along with associated lighting, markings, and design-after-award work for the Aircraft Arresting System absorber shelter foundations. The project must comply with ICAO standards and requires civil works capability for earthwork and runway construction or repair in the Kingdom of Jordan, with evaluation under a full and open best-value source selection for a firm-fixed-price design-bid-build contract. The anticipated period of performance is 540 calendar days after notice to proceed, and the Phase I RFP is anticipated for release on 01 June 2026.
