Contract Opportunity Analysis

The Department of the Interior, National Park Service is seeking qualified businesses to rehabilitate the main water system at East Creek and Yovimpa Point in Bryce Canyon National Park. The scope of work includes replacing primary and secondary water distribution piping, performing limited wastewater lateral replacement, executing SCADA and electrical upgrades, decommissioning and demolishing abandoned water infrastructure, and restoring the affected site. Contractors must minimize visitor impacts in the active park by using minimally invasive practices like horizontal directional drilling and must be capable of installing HDPE water systems in remote, rocky terrain. Interested firms must submit their capability statements, bonding capacity, and relevant experience to Contract Specialist Brian Baugh and Contracting Officer Vicki Freese-Supler by August 12, 2026, ahead of an anticipated contract award around September 2026.
