Indium Metal
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Contracting Services Office - Columbus is soliciting proposals to procure 4N purity indium metal ingots and third-party material testing for the National Defense Stockpile. Awardees will supply up to 402,825 kilograms of refined indium metal over a three-year period, with the material packaged in wooden crates and delivered to designated government depots. To support the domestic industrial base and reduce foreign dependency, competition is restricted under FAR 6.302-3 to United States-based manufacturers capable of conducting production, sampling, and testing within the contiguous United States. Multiple indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contracts will be awarded with a combined maximum value of $250,000,000, and proposals must be submitted electronically to Zoryanna Siemer and Alicia Barrowman by July 20, 2026.
