Notice of Intent to Sole Source Award to Advantor

The Department of Defense, through the Department of the Army’s 188th Wing, Arkansas Air National Guard, is pursuing a sole-source procurement for the delivery and installation of the Digital Microwave Intrusion Link at the Fort Smith, Arkansas installation. The work is to replace the existing Southwest Digital Microwave Intrusion Link and support the wing’s security system through Advantor Systems Corporation, which is identified as the only approved and authorized contractor and the sole manufacturer of the current system. The requirement is being pursued as other-than-full-and-open competition because the equipment is proprietary to the installed access control and intrusion detection system, and the effort is described as a new firm-fixed-price agreement. The procurement is not currently funded, but if funding becomes available before 30 September 2026 an award may be made to Advantor, and interested sources must respond by 1:00 p.m. CST on 12 May 2026 by email to MSgt Robin Swaim-Cherry.
