Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division intends to issue a competitive solicitation for Aeromechanics and Systems Engineering research, development, and technical support services for the Navy and Marine Corps air systems Flight Controls Branch. The work includes software and hardware development, prototype development, and analysis supporting lifecycle engineering and program management for systems such as the F/A-18, F-35, V-22 Osprey, and MQ-4 Triton. The acquisition is planned as a single-award IDIQ with a five-year ordering period, under a total small business set-aside, with performance in St. James, Maryland. The RFP is anticipated around June 15, 2026, will be posted to PIEE, and proposals must be submitted through the PIEE Solicitation Module, with no response required to this presolicitation notice.
