ADAPTER ASSEMBLY

The Department of the Navy’s NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg is soliciting a 700 PSI adapter assembly for a critical shipboard system. The work requires manufacture of the complete 1/2 IPS x 7/8-14 UNF adapter assembly in accordance with Electric Boat Drawing 2621-022-01, assembly 12A, including the required material, testing, traceability, and certification deliverables. The item is treated as Special Emphasis material with strict quality controls, including thread inspection, welding and brazing qualification where applicable, mercury-free compliance, source inspection, and an ISO-9001-based quality system, and offers will be evaluated with past performance in mind; the order is also DO-rated and set aside for small business. Certification data must be submitted to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard through WAWF for review and acceptance before each shipment, using Ship to N50286, Inspect by N39040, Accept by N39040, and no material may ship before acceptance.
