High Resolution Time Tagger

The Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology is issuing a notice of intent to make a sole-source, firm-fixed-price purchase order for a high-precision Swabian Time Tagger. The requirement is for a 4-measurement-channel time tagger with associated software to support NIST research and development in quantum networking and resilient time distribution. NIST needs this system to match its existing Swabian X Time Tagger so it can expand the testbed and maintain continuity and comparability of experimental data, with performance tied to work in Gaithersburg, Maryland. This is not a solicitation, and responses identifying capability must be emailed to Collin Randall no later than March 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM Eastern Time.
