Walk-In Laboratory Cooler

The Department of Health and Human Services, Food and Drug Administration, is seeking a contractor to provide a walk-in laboratory cooler for the FDA Moffett Center in Bedford Park, Illinois. The contractor must furnish and deliver a unit measuring approximately 105 inches long, 80 inches wide, and 105 inches high to replace an inoperable unit and store food matrices for proficiency testing. Technical requirements include maintaining an operating temperature of 2 degrees Celsius plus or minus 0.5 degrees, redundant cooling systems with automatic switchover, stainless steel interior construction, and delivery within 120 calendar days after award. Award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis, with the government retaining responsibility for general installation and assembly.
