Lone Cone Chinking, GMUG NF, Norwood Road, Colorado

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service is seeking a contractor to replace the chinking on the exterior of the historic Lone Cone Cabin in the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre, and Gunnison National Forests. The contractor must prepare the exterior log surfaces and install new chinking material to seal large gaps and holes caused by woodpeckers and other pests. The work is located on Norwood Road in Colorado and requires a bid guarantee of 20 percent of the total offer price submitted on Standard Form 24 at the time of quotation.
