The Department of Defense, through the Department of the Navy’s NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mech office, is soliciting a complete 1/4-inch globe valve for use in a critical shipboard system. The procurement covers manufacture of the valve to the referenced Carleton drawing and related specifications, with required cleaning, testing, labeling, packaging, and certification. It is designated Special Emphasis Level I/SUBSAFE material and requires stringent quality controls, including material traceability, source inspection, an ISO-9001-based quality system or approved alternate, and proof and seat pressure testing. Certification data must be submitted through WAWF for Portsmouth Naval Shipyard review and acceptance before each shipment, with no material shipped before acceptance, and the primary contact is Brittany A.
