Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Midwest Consortium is seeking virtual Magnetic Resonance Safety Expert services to support participating sites in Veterans Integrated Service Networks 15 and 23. The selected contractor will provide routine and emergency virtual clinical support, including advising on the MR-safe imaging of implanted devices, assisting with quality assurance programs, and developing MRI protocols. This acquisition is structured as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside, requiring key personnel to hold certifications from a national agency such as the American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety and possess at least three years of experience. The contract will be a single firm-fixed-price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract consisting of a one-year base period starting October 1, 2026, followed by four one-year option periods.
