The Department of Defense, through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Omaha District, is preparing to issue a presolicitation for the Saint Vrain Creek Flood Risk Reduction Project in Longmont, Colorado. This project aims to enhance the flood conveyance of the Saint Vrain Creek channel, thereby reducing flooding risks to adjacent properties while improving the aesthetic, recreational, and environmental conditions along the creek corridor. The work will include channel grading, recreational trail construction, and irrigation system installation, with a contract value estimated between $10 million and $25 million. Interested small businesses must ensure they are registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and submit bids by the anticipated closing date of November 5, 2024.
