Jackson Public School University Residential STEM (Health Career Fields) Camp for USACC

The Mission Installation Contracting Command-Ft Knox seeks a sole-source justification for a $85,532.00 firm-fixed-price contract to support the Mississippi Health STEM Camp for JROTC Cadets. William Carey University (WCU) is the proposed sole-source vendor due to its unique ability to provide residential STEM training focused on health sciences, a requirement not fully met by other institutions. Previous solicitations resulted in WCU being the only responsive offeror. The camp will host approximately 120 cadets over two cycles in June 2023, providing lodging, facilities, and meals. Despite efforts to increase competition through market research, WCU remains the only institution capable of meeting all requirements, including specific lodging and safety criteria, as it has done for over four years. This justification ensures JROTC Cadets receive vital STEM training, with the price determined to be fair and reasonable based on historical data and market analysis.
