Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is preparing to issue a solicitation for a firm-fixed-price contract to provide comprehensive, live online instructor-led Python training services. This initiative is driven by the Consumer Safety Technology Act and the CPSC’s 2025 Generative AI Use Policy, which emphasizes the need for advanced analytics to identify hazards and track injury trends. The training program will consist of four modules covering Python fundamentals, machine learning, deep learning, and web scraping & automation, targeting various government staff including statisticians and data scientists. The anticipated solicitation release date is on or about March 5, 2026, with a performance period of one year from the date of award.
