The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg, is seeking a contractor to manufacture and deliver complete 1/2-inch socket weld in-line stop valves with backseats. Deliverables must conform to NAVSHIPS Drawing 803-2177525, Assembly 803-2177525-C3A1AF, and require certified materials for major parts such as the body, bonnet, stem, studs, and nuts. This procurement is an emergency acquisition subject to a total small business set-aside, and the items are designated as special emphasis materials requiring extensive traceability, quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis, and government source inspection. The solicitation mandates contractor-conducted non-destructive first article testing on one unit, with quality systems compliant with ISO-9001 or MIL-I-45208.
