Contract Opportunity Analysis

The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is seeking a small business contractor to monitor and maintain the automatic fire sprinkler systems at the Southeast Fisheries Science Center in Galveston, Texas. The contractor will provide all equipment, labor, and materials necessary for the inspection, testing, assessment, monitoring, corrective repairs, and maintenance of the systems located in Buildings 302 and 306. Work will be performed at the NOAA Galveston Laboratory over a one-year base period starting in September 2026, with four subsequent one-year option periods. Award will be made on a low-priced, technically acceptable basis evaluating technical approach, past performance, and firm fixed-price. Quotes must be submitted electronically to raynier.camerino@noaa.gov no later than 3:00 PM EDT on September 14, 2026.
