Contract Opportunity Analysis

The Department of Veterans Affairs Connecticut Healthcare System is seeking a contractor for the replacement of condensate pumps and associated piping at the West Haven VA Medical Center. To improve boiler plant efficiency and reduce corrosion risks, the selected contractor must remove defective pump skids and install four new pump skids, which includes making electrical, control, and piping corrections. Contractors must have a field representative located within 200 miles of the campus, possess original equipment manufacturer training, and schedule mobilization and steam outages outside of regular business hours. Quotes will be evaluated based on price, past performance, and technical capability, and must be submitted electronically to Contracting Officer Tnauri Woodbridge by the extended deadline of September 14, 2026.
