DevX Autonomy

The U.S. Army Applications Lab (AAL) and Transformation and Training Command (T2COM) have issued an open call, W911NF-26-S-0040, for innovative Autonomous Unmanned System (AUS) solutions under the "DevX Autonomy" initiative. This program seeks to advance AUS hardware and software through a digital environment where U.S. and compliant foreign entities can submit video demonstrations. The goals are to centralize AUS solution assessment for the government, provide a platform for developers to promote their work, streamline procurement, and offer a technology transition pathway. Submissions are accepted monthly from December 30, 2025, to July 31, 2026, and are assessed based on criteria like technical merit and approach. Solutions deemed award-ready will be eligible for rapid acquisition without further competition. The AAL seeks solutions in areas such as platforms, payloads, mission-enabling solutions, lethal capabilities, sustainment, subcomponents, and other disruptive autonomy solutions. Participants retain ownership of their submissions but grant the government licenses for viewing, assessment, research, and training purposes.
