The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Legend Technical Services, Inc. for specialized water analysis services related to the A-22 Waste Disposal Facility at the Yuma Desalting Plant in Arizona. The primary objective of this procurement is to collect, analyze, and report water-quality samples to ensure compliance with Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) wastewater regulatory requirements, involving both annual and quarterly sampling of specific monitoring wells for various parameters. This project is critical for maintaining environmental standards and ensuring the safe disposal of sludge, with analytical services required to be performed by an ADHS-certified laboratory using EPA methods.
