VASNHCS Police Psychological Assessments

The VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System requires psychological evaluations for its Police Officers, both applicants and incumbents, as outlined in VHA Directive 0730(1). These evaluations assess emotional and mental stability, suitability to carry firearms, and the ability to meet functional requirements such as integrity, emotional control, and appropriate use of force.
