NACE REPAIR TERMITE DAMAGE FOWA
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The National Park Service has issued a solicitation for a firm-fixed-price purchase order to perform termite damage mitigation and repairs at Fort Washington Park in Maryland. The selected contractor must execute two interdependent scopes of work, which include conducting termite assessments and chemical treatments in addition to removing and replacing damaged drywall, insulation, and wooden framing across two historic buildings. The project features a one-year overall period of performance, with initial treatments and construction repairs required within 90 days of award followed by mandatory inspections at the 6-month and 12-month milestones. This opportunity is set aside entirely for small businesses, and the award will be based on the lowest-priced, technically acceptable quotation. Final electronic quotations must be submitted to Contract Specialist Richard Burns at richard_burns@ios.doi.gov by September 23, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. ET.
