The shoulder support system should alleviate upper body strain, with adjustability options and emergency egress features. Both systems should be designed for ease of use and comfort.

The scope of work involves supplying exoskeletons that meet the specified requirements, with a focus on adaptability and versatility. The deliverables include fully functional and field-ready exoskeleton systems, tailored to the described specifications.

Applicants for this opportunity should possess experience and expertise in medical instrument manufacturing, preferably with a track record in developing supportive exoskeletons. Eligible applicants will need to comply with SBA requirements for small businesses.

Funding for this project is estimated at $750,000-$1.5 million, with the contract type being a firm-fixed-price. Applications should be submitted before the deadline, with a detailed proposal outlining their capabilities and approach.

The evaluation of applications will consider factors such as the technical merit of the proposal, the applicant's experience, and price. Technical expertise, innovative solutions, and past performance will be key selection criteria.

For any queries or clarifications, interested parties can contact Cory Silfies at cory.silfies@us.af.mil or via phone at 4109186454.
