The Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is seeking two KC-46 engine change systems for use by the 568 AMXS maintenance squadron. The work includes delivering, installing, setting up, and verifying the systems’ operation, along with training for operators and maintenance personnel. The systems must be compatible with the Pratt and Whitney PW4062 engine, lift at least 36,000 pounds, provide independent control of four pillar positioning units, and move in three axes, while the contractor also complies with on-base safety, environmental, access, and conduct requirements. This is a firm-fixed-price commercial-item procurement with a 41-month performance period, and award will go to the technically acceptable vendor with the lowest evaluated price. Quotes are due June 8, 2026 at 2:00 PM CST, with emailed submissions preferred, and the vendor must be registered in SAM and authorized to perform repairs on proprietary equipment.
