SEAT,VALVE

The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg, has issued a solicitation to procure valve seats for hovering system hull and backup valves. The contractor must manufacture and deliver these valve seats from ASTM-B505 Alloy C90300 in strict accordance with Naval Sea Systems Command Drawing 7067896, item 78. Because these components are designated as special emphasis materials for crucial shipboard systems, the scope requires extensive testing and traceability, including quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis, visual inspection, and radiography. Offers will be evaluated using past performance, and final delivery of all materials is required on or before 365 days after the contract's effective date.
