OUSW Drug Demand Reduction Quality Assurance Services
Contract Opportunity Analysis
Washington Headquarters Services/Acquisition Directorate, on behalf of the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Personnel & Readiness and the Office of Drug Demand Reduction, is conducting market research for Drug Demand Reduction Program quality assurance support services. The work centers on forensic toxicology QA support to help keep the military drug testing program scientifically sound and efficient, including blind and open proficiency testing, accreditation inspections of five forensic toxicology drug testing laboratories, reference materials, scientific consultation, and monthly and quarterly reporting. The effort is expected to require a certified laboratory, qualified personnel, security-cleared key staff, and a 60-day phase-in, with a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. This is a sources sought notice rather than a solicitation, and capabilities statements are due by June 30, 2026, with an anticipated award in January 2027 and an estimated value of $6 million.
