Contract Opportunity Analysis

The U.S. Coast Guard, SFLC Procurement Branch 3, intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to NAG, LLC for Coast Guard Machinery Control System computing hardware to support propulsion systems upgrades. The required deliverables include six MilAxon 4000 rugged standalone computers, two 19-inch operator interface panels with integrated MilAxon 4000 computers, mounting kits, and field-side connector kits. These components must integrate seamlessly with existing shipboard hardware designed by the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division for the USCGC Abbie Burgess. NAG, LLC is the sole retailer for Rugged Machines and the authorized distributor for this specialized equipment, which is necessary to maintain configuration control and interface with proprietary software. Responses demonstrating clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government must be submitted via email to Contracting Officer Joshua Richardson at joshua.c.richardson2@uscg.mil for this requirement valued at approximately $108,328.00.
