Defensive Driving Course
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Gordon, is procuring a commercially provided Defensive Drivers Course for 12 Soldiers from the 202d Military Intelligence Battalion. The contractor must deliver all personnel, vehicles, safety equipment, and training facilities required to teach classroom theory and practical exercises, including accident avoidance, surveillance detection, evasive driving, and off-road driving. Training must take place at a specialized facility located on the U.S. East Coast within 600 miles of Fort Gordon, Georgia, and is scheduled for August 24–28, 2026. Performance will be evaluated via a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan, with students required to pass multiple-choice exams and practical evaluations.
