Hamamatsu ORCA-Quest 2 Digital qCMOS Camera and Interface Kits or EQUAL

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Shared Services Center has issued Request for Quotation (RFQ) 80NSSC25913536Q for a Hamamatsu ORCA-Quest 2 Digital qCMOS Camera and Interface Kits or EQUAL. This solicitation, set aside for small businesses, requires quotes to be submitted by August 13, 2025, at 7 a.m. CT to Stephanie Graham (Stephanie.n.Graham@nasa.gov). All technical and contractual questions must be submitted in writing to the same contact by August 12, 2025, at 7 a.m. CT. NASA Langley Research Center requires a Hamamatsu ORCA-Quest 2 Digital qCMOS Camera Kit, or an equivalent, for advanced photon number resolving 2D imaging to support NASA missions. The camera must have specific technical characteristics: at least 9.4 megapixels, readout noise of 0.43 electrons RMS or less at 120 fps, up to 19,800 fps at reduced pixel count, a dynamic range of at least 23,000:1, and high quantum efficiency (50% at 300 nm, 85% at 460 nm, 30% at 900 nm). It also needs external triggering capability and a compact physical size (max 120mm x 120mm x 160mm, under 5 lbs). The procurement includes the camera kit and an interface kit. Delivery is required by September 30, 2025, to NASA Langley Research Center.
