Advanced Instruments Services

The Department of Justice, specifically the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), intends to award a sole-source contract to Advanced Instruments, LLC for the provision of an Artel MVS Advanced Care Plus BIO Service Agreement. This contract, which will span one year with four optional renewal years, is critical for ensuring the accuracy and precision of instrumentation used in DNA processing, as it includes essential services such as annual calibrator plate recertification, preventative maintenance, and extended warranty coverage for three instruments. The Advanced Instruments Multichannel Verification System (MVS) is vital for accredited DNA laboratories to meet quality assurance standards, and the FBI has determined that Advanced Instruments is the sole provider of this necessary equipment and services.
