The Department of the Air Force, through the 14th Contracting Squadron at Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi, is seeking a qualified small business contractor to renovate Room 106 in Building 730 for use as an alternate Emergency Operations Center. The contractor must provide all plant, labor, equipment, transportation, and tools to complete the design-build renovation, which includes upgrading the space to meet Unified Facilities Criteria and Air Force Instructions. Key deliverables feature the installation of a dedicated split-system HVAC unit, a dedicated communications server room cooling system, and a 45 kW to 60 kW backup generator with an automatic transfer switch. The firm-fixed-price contract has a performance period of 275 calendar days after the notice to proceed, and proposals will be evaluated using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable source selection process.
