RFI AI + DPA Business Process Flow Improvement Solution for Contract Closeout Modernization – Pilot Project

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC) is seeking information from qualified vendors for an AI + Digital Process Automation (DPA) Business Process Flow Improvement solution. This Request for Information (RFI) aims to modernize the manual and labor-intensive contract closeout process, which currently involves multiple VA enterprise systems. The VA plans to pilot a hybrid AI+DPA solution within its secure environment, requiring vendors to have existing FedRAMP Authorization (Moderate or High) and VA Authority to Operate (ATO). Key objectives include automating deterministic tasks, leveraging AI for interpretive tasks like document classification and anomaly detection, integrating with VA systems, ensuring compliance verification, and maintaining security. Vendors are requested to provide company information, proof of authorizations, descriptions of capabilities, relevant past performance, proposed technical approaches, risk mitigation strategies, contract vehicles, estimated pilot timelines, and a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimate for a 12-month period.
