Contract Opportunity Analysis

The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research to identify potential sources for third-party medical billing services through the Consolidated Patient Account Center Revenue Operations. The contractor will be responsible for manually generating, authorizing, and releasing outpatient medical claims for both VA Care and VA Care in the Community, utilizing the agency's legacy, DOS-based VistA system. Work must be performed remotely in a secure, HIPAA-compliant environment, and the contractor must demonstrate the capability to process an estimated monthly volume of 250,000 to 350,000 claim encounters under an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a 60-month ordering period.
