Exhibit Fabrication and Installation

This Statement of Work outlines the requirements for a vendor to design, fabricate, and install a new, aesthetically pleasing exhibit along the hallway leading to the DEA Administrator's executive suite at DEA Headquarters in Arlington, VA. The vendor will perform three primary tasks: 1. Casework: Transform twelve existing millwork feature wall niches into secure display cases using glass covers, custom safety screws, and colored backing substrates. 2. Artifact Mounts: Design and fabricate freestanding mounts for various historical and law enforcement artifacts (such as weapons, badges, and cultural items) in eight of the niches. 3. Labels: Fabricate and install easily replaceable, wall-mounted artifact labels using copy provided by the DEA. Because the exhibit is located in a highly secure, low-light hallway, aesthetic integration with existing décor is the highest priority. The document includes technical floor plans, architectural elevations, and a list of specific artifacts assigned to each numbered niche. Additionally, the document details stringent security and standard of conduct requirements for non-sensitive, escorted positions. All contractor personnel must be U.S. citizens, pass comprehensive criminal and credit background checks, and submit completed federal security forms (such as the SF85 and Drug Use Statement) at least ten business days prior to starting work. While on-site, personnel must be escorted at all times, adhere to a professional business casual dress code, and comply with strict information security and nondisclosure policies.
